Welcome to San Diego State University’s Donor Honor Roll. As a visitor to this web site, you are, in all likelihood, one of the thousands of alumni, parents, friends and corporations who not only understand our need to increase private support, but who also responded by actively contributing to SDSU during my tenure.

It is remarkable to assess the transformation that has taken place on our campus during the past decade. Six years ago, we built a strong operational structure to support charitable giving to the university, The Campanile Foundation. It has achieved an impressive record of growth and performance upon which future philanthropy can be built.

Much of our effort has focused on building the SDSU Endowment, which provides permanent capacity to support faculty, students and programs. Ten years ago, our university had a $17 million endowment; today it exceeds $117 million. We owe our gratitude to loyal donors for helping us build these sustainable resources and to members of The Campanile Foundation board of directors, who have invested these funds wisely.

The university receives more recognition than ever as a premier public university with an international focus. On behalf of SDSU, thank you for your continued effort in helping make this all possible.
