The Aztec Athletic Foundation is a non-profit, volunteer organization whose mission is to support and promote SDSU Athletics primarily by fund raising for its intercollegiate teams, providing student-athlete scholarships, recognizing male and female student athletes and fostering community support. The Aztec Athletic Foundation acknowledges athletics boosters in eight giving categories:

• Director’s Cabinet, for gifts of $25,000 or more;
• Golden Aztec, for gifts of $10,000 to $24,999
• Silver Aztec, for gifts of $5,000 to $9,999;
• Bronze Aztec, for gifts of $2,500 to $4,999
• Champion Aztec, for gifts of $1,000 to $2,499;
• Fighting Aztec, for gifts of $500 to $999
• Defending Aztec, for gifts of $250 to $499;
• Proud Aztec, for gifts of $100 to $249 (not featured)
